Remote Deposit Capture is here!

Don't go out of your way to get to the credit union just to deposit a check. Now, you can deposit checks anytime, anywhere with the Erie Community CU Mobile App and Remote Deposit Capture!*

Q:  How do I get started?

  • Make sure that you have the Erie Community CU Mobile App downloaded on your Apple or Android device. Next, apply for Remote Deposit Capture (RDC). RDC eligibility requires credit union approval. Fill out an application and submit it to any credit union representative to gain access.

Q: Once I have access to RDC, how do I proceed?

  • Make sure your check is endorsed. Sign the back of the check and write "For Remote Deposit Only at ECCU" below your signature. Then log in to the Mobile App and select Deposit from the main menu. Follow the on-screen prompts.

Q:  How much money can I deposit remotely?

  • The amount you may deposit with RDC on any single business day is $2,500.00, with a weekly maximum of $7,500.00.

Q:  What do I do with the check after depositing it?

  • Once the check has been credited to your account, you must securely store the check for 30 days. After that time, you may properly dispose of the check.

Q:  Is my deposit secure?

  • Yes, all information is stored in our secure systems and not on your device. 

Q:  Which mobile devices are supported?

  • Apple and Android operating systems are supported. Download the ECCU app from the iTunes or Google Play store.
